When should I call the vet?
Call the vet if the puppy isn't eating or drinking or has diarrhea or vomiting.
Will the puppy adjust to his crate or x pen?
Yes, be consistent. I know it's hard to hear them cry but it is important for them to have a safe place when you aren't with them.
How long before they are potty trained?
There is no answer for this but I can promise if you are dedicated it will happen sooner. Remember their bladders are small. Be sure to give praise when they accomplish going in the designated area.
Are they safe outside?
Never leave your dog outside without you. They overheat easily and they can become lost or stolen. Also Birds and other wildlife can be dangerous.
Can I sleep with my new puppy?
It is ultimately your decision but I feel it is dangerous for a puppy to sleep anywhere other than their own area. They could fall from the bed or become injured.
How often should I groom my dog?
It is a daily commitment as far as brushing but most can do 2-3 months between grooming professionally depending on how short you want to keep them and if you do some of the grooming yourself.
Do you have a health guarantee?
Please see my contract but yes I do. I have currently started testing all my moms and dads dna before breeding to ensure the quality of dogs I have in my program.
